About
Sabrina is currently a senior in the Interior Design program at Auburn University.Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by her entire family, the sense of community was engraved in her mind from a very young age. She believes every design should incorporate this feeling. Whether it be in a residential space, or a commercial office, a person should feel comfortable and welcomed.
Design Philosophy
"Design is not just what it looks like, design is how it works."
This quote by Steve Jobs captures the main goal of Interior Design as a whole. Similar to a mixture of paints being thrown together in abstract strokes, the design of a space should not only look appealing, but should somehow work in an unexpected way. The design is not necessarily noticed consciously, but is something the viewer takes in as a whole, and feels an overall sense of peace as if they are exactly where they belong. This philosophy is what drives the designs shown throughout this journey.
